Hazel Tasker

Just as with Winter, in Autumn Hazel becomes a curse/blessing/Nexus LOL machine. Get her attention in one way or another and she might hand one out based on how she feels but sometimes the Season (AKA you the players OOCly) will force her hand a bit. Autumn is all about balance and preparing for Winter. Having too much of an extreme in your life or showing a cavalier attitude toward planning ahead ups the odds that she will want to teach a lesson. The duration of each curse and blessing is up to the player. Talk to me about what you want and we'll make it work but please note all effects will be gone at Autumn's end and nothing is permanent post-Season.

Curses

Tiger Mom- Anything and everything is a threat to the ones you love and you'll do whatever it takes to protect them and get them ahead even if they don't want you to. You know what's best.
Death of the Nomad- No matter the reason you had for being a wandering soul you have the urge to hunker down and wall up for the coming season. You're convinced leaving--even to go back to your portal home--will mean your death.
Decay- The vitality of life around you has begun to wither. All organic matter (such as food or plants) you touch rots away. Depending on the severity of this curse you can also bring ill to people you touch as well.
Blustery Bumbling- The wind is right gusty but really just around you. Careful not to be blown off your feet, your hair every which way, and loose clothing is a bad bad idea. Also, when did that debris get underfoot?
Unprepared- Nothing is going according to plan. You didn't account for that extra guest, or that storm, or how much time you'd have and now you're paying for your lack of foresight.
Judgement of the Past- You see dead people. Specifically, people you've lost in your life. And boy howdy do they have Opinions for you and will not go away.
Cobwebbed Heart- A pervasive feeling of fear and unease grips at your heart. Did you do enough? Are you worthy? Likable? Nothing's ever good enough and you want so badly to pass muster though for what you cannot say.
Howling winds- You can't run or hide from the air itself shaking your shutters and screaming into the night. Hope you built your home sturdy.
I'm late, I'm late!- For a very important date. There's just no time and there's so much to do! You're in a constant state of urgency and panic from the time you wake up to the time you crash and it never feels like you've caught up.



Blessings

Falling Leaves- Everywhere you go a trail of softly falling autumn leaves is in your wake. Crunch crunch go your shoes along the ground.
Saturation Maximum- Look at all the Colors! Everywhere you go you get a stunning display of turning foliage filling your entire view.
Best Laid Plans- Your patience and hard work is finally coming to fruition. Everything you do turns out well and more than occasionally better than expected!
Life in the Balance- You might have had some ups and downs but nothing seems to shake you. You feel a sense of pervasive calm no matter what life throws at you. You'll make it through.
Harvest Boon- The time of plenty has come to you. Your garden's yields are better than they've ever been before. Alternatively, everything you cook comes out simply amazing.
Wind walker- You're quick as the breeze and your steps are just as soft. Whether you're the hunter or the hunted this season you have the winds on your side.
Blessing of the Ancients- You dream of those who have passed on and they offer you their wisdom, love, and advice for their living loved one.
Two Sides to Every Story- You gain the wisdom and patience to see both sides of any issue presented to you, even if you would usually be driven to one extreme or the other.

Area Effects

Realm of the Dead- Everything seems just a little bit off. Things move in your peripherals and a haunting chill clings to the air. Voices carry that have no bodies and secrets aren't safe here.
Autumn's Gale- The weather is exceedingly unpredictable and going through your portal may not fix it...
Bounty A'Plenty- Acorns, nuts, fruit, gourds, there just seems to be food everywhere you look! Mind that it hasn't begun to spoil.
Fall Festivities- Jack-o-lanturns, candy skulls, and seasonal displays just seem to pop up now and again in the oddest places.
Foggy Days- It's getting hard to see and shadows in the fog aren't always a trick of the mind. It's not going anywhere, either. Best be careful you don't wander somewhere you shouldn't by mistake.
Sugar and Spice- The scents of warm spices and a home cooked meal are simply everywhere. One last fall bonfire sending the dry smoke of fallen leaves on the wind or a fresh baked pie. It's all here.
